2003 ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST

The entries for the annual "Ding" Darling Wildlife Society photo contest were
judged October 9, 2003.  There were 131 entries, and the judges selected 14
winning photographs.  This year's judges were Kendra Pednault, refuge biologist,
and island photographers Charles McCullough, David Meardon, and John Carney.
The judging criteria are technical excellence (sharpness, lighting, composition
and exposure), originality/creativity, interest, and ability to be reproduced for publication.
